Is my Father or Mother really an "Alien" just because they come from another county here on planet earth?

Why does Thailand always make one of our parents feel they are only home for 1 year at a time at the Visa office?

Why 'can't Thailand be like other countries where an "Alien" has the right to house & land ownership. Why don't they have the same rights as a Thai father or mother with all the legal standing when it comes down to our family home? Ok; some say this will never happen, but why isn't there fairer system where perhaps the amount of land ownership is restricted.

Is this fair that one of our parents can "Never" call Thailand home "100%".
